FED:Jobless jumps to 5.1 per cent

New data shows the jobless rate unexpectedly rose to 5.1 per cent in July, as the number
of people in work held steady in the month.

Economists had expected a 10 thousand increase in employment, with the jobless rate
remaining at 4.9 per cent.
