Build a road, and they will dump at the end of it.
That appears to be the rule of thumb in the Pine Bush, where environmentalists say a 30-to-50- acre section of the sensitive pine barrens, just across the street from the city landfill, has been serving as an illegal dump for years.
But not much longer, if the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, Save the Pine Bush and The Nature Conservancy have their way.
The three groups are organizing a cleanup for May 15, hoping to draw together 100 to 200 people to pull out what they say is everything from household garbage to abandoned cars.
