Vic: Man pleads guilty to possessing false passports

MELBOURNE, Jan 13 AAP - A Nigerian-born immigrant today pleaded guilty in the Melbourne
Magistrates Court to possessing false passports from New Zealand and Canada.

Oladipo Lasisi Tiamiyu, 33, was arrested at his Essendon home in October last year
after the Australian Federal Police received a tip-off from Royal Thai Customs.

In a statement tendered to the court, federal agent Michael Winchester said that on
October 10 the AFP was advised of two packages intercepted by Royal Thai Customs containing
